Anti Street Harassment Week: Myth-Busting

International Anti-Street Harassment Week starts March 18! One way to get involved is to help combat myths about street harassment, including the big one that how one dresses “invites” harassment. Dehli, India based activist group Must bol created “Got Stared At”, a website dedicated to busting this myth. At Got Stared At people can submit pictures of what they were wearing when they were harassed or molested on the street. The website shows a variety of styles of dress, because in reality one’s dress has nothing to do with getting harassed. It is caused purely by the person doing the harassment.
